About this map
This is a maintained schematic map for route planning. It focuses on the places players actually need to find, with conservative location notes that can be updated as Early Access changes.
Interactive Map
This is a schematic player map, not a coordinate-perfect satellite view. It is designed to answer the practical question players have while driving: where the important places are, which route type to use, and what each stop is for.
Map Locations List
| Location | Category | What it is for | Navigation note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Player Apartment | Home | Starting base, bed, phone, food storage, save point. | In Perajarvi town center, close to Pub Nappo and PSK. |
| PSK Peraportti | Shop | Fuel, food, ATM, job board, postal services, supplies. | Highway exit into Perajarvi; make it your first refuel and grocery stop. |
| Fleetari's Repair Shop | Service | Repairs, parts, tire work, inspections, service planning. | West side toward Loppe; plan transport if your car stays for work. |
| Parents' House | Home | Physical map, tractor, woodshed, storage, sauna, AMIS catalog. | Kesselinpera peninsula; useful for firewood and long-term storage. |
| Pub Nappo | Shop | Food, drinks, coffee, cigarettes, card game, social stop. | Near apartment; useful when PSK is not the right stop. |
| Futufon Factory | Job | Main weekly work option and steady income route. | Southeast side near the highway bridge; arrive with enough time for the shift. |

In-Game Physical Map
Where to find it
The physical map is at the parents' house, above the telephone table in the main room. It is the most immersive way to check the whole region without relying on a modern dashboard GPS.
How to read it
- Red thick lines: paved highway routes.
- Thin dark lines: smaller dirt roads.
- Purple buildings: commercial or public buildings.
- Black buildings: houses and residential stops.
- Brown or marshy areas: avoid with normal vehicles.
Best habit
Call job or sale phone numbers before driving when possible. Some objectives add map markers, which makes long-distance navigation much easier.
Route Planning
Apartment to PSK
Use this as your basic supply loop. Buy food, fuel, and check job board activity before longer drives.
PSK to Fleetari
Plan around shop hours and cash. If Fleetari keeps the vehicle, have a ride, loaner, or walking plan ready.
Town to Parents' House
Use the safer road route while learning; switch to lake shortcuts after you understand braking distance and traction.
Lake Shortcut
Best when avoiding highway cameras or saving time, but the surface rewards gentle steering and early braking.
Road Types and Conditions
| Road type | Use it for | Risk | Tip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Highway loop | Fast travel between major areas. | Police, cameras, low winter grip. | Slow before corners and watch blind turns. |
| Dirt roads | Local access and safer winter traction. | Lower speed and poor visibility. | Use them when carrying cargo or towing. |
| Frozen lake | Shortcuts and route bypasses. | Long braking distance and spin-outs. | Use winter tires and smooth throttle. |
| Ice racing area | Practice and racing events. | High-speed mistakes. | Practice with a car you can afford to repair. |
FAQ
Is this a real interactive map?
Yes. The markers, filters, and detail panel are interactive. The layout is schematic because an exact official coordinate map is not available for safe embedding.
Why is the layout schematic?
The goal is fast navigation, not a coordinate-perfect scan. Use it to learn route relationships, then confirm exact turns with the physical in-game map.
Does My Winter Car have GPS?
No modern dashboard GPS should be expected. Use the in-game physical map, visual landmarks, and phone-generated markers.
What should I learn first?
Memorize apartment, PSK, parents' house, Fleetari, Pub Nappo, and the lake shortcut. Those locations cover most early needs.
