Before any guide is published, we complete a comprehensive fact-check report that includes:
- Multi-Source Verification: Every claim must be verified by at least 2 independent sources
- Source Hierarchy: We prioritize official wiki → developer statements → community consensus
- Confidence Scoring: Each piece of information receives a confidence rating (0-1.0 scale)
- Timestamp Requirements: All evidence must include dates/version numbers for time-sensitive data
- EA Uncertainty Warnings: Information with confidence < 0.7 receives explicit warning boxes
What We DON'T Publish
- Single-source claims without verification
- Speculation or theories presented as facts
- Information from sources older than 12 months (unless re-verified)
- Game data that cannot be independently confirmed
My Winter Car is in Early Access. Game mechanics can change with any patch. When you see yellow warning boxes in our guides, it means that specific information has lower confidence or may be subject to change. We update our guides as the game evolves.
