FleetariLoppe

Repair Shop Owner & Parts Specialist

Fleetari runs the primary repair shop in Perรคjรคrvi and is your main source for new/NOS (New Old Stock) engine parts and professional automotive services. Unlike My Summer Car, Fleetari now operates with significant differences including post-payment service and randomized completion times.

๐Ÿ“ Location & Hours

Location
Loppe (town center)
Business Hours
Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:00
Weekend Status
โŒ Closed Saturdays & Sundays

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Services Offered

  • New/NOS Parts Sales: Primarily engine parts and wear items (limited stock, random restocks)
  • Repair Services: Tire changes, painting, bodywork, mechanical repairs
  • Metal Recycling: Bring scrap metal for cash payment (based on weight)
  • Rally Registration: Sign up for ice track and rally events
  • Heated Garage Rental: Planned feature (not confirmed in EA v.260102)
๐Ÿ’ก Key Changes from My Summer Car
  • Post-Payment System: You pay AFTER work is done (not before like MSC)
  • Key Management: Fleetari takes your Rivett keys during repairs, returns after payment
  • Randomized Completion: Simple jobs (tire changes) quick, complex work (painting) takes days
  • Flexible Tire Jobs: Choose number of wheels (1-4), price calculated accordingly
  • Limited Stock: Parts inventory finite, developer hasn't decided restock intervals (as of May 2024)

๐Ÿš— Bachglotz Loaner Car

When your Rivett is left at Fleetari's for service, you can borrow his American classic:

  • Vehicle: Bachglotz (1965 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe)
  • Transmission: Automatic (easier than Rivett's manual)
  • Cost: Free temporary use
  • Performance: Heavy handling, sluggish acceleration, but reliable transport
โš ๏ธ Stock Limitation Critical Notice
  • Limited Stock: Fleetari has finite quantities - when sold out, they're gone
  • Random Restock: Developer hasn't decided restock intervals yet (as of May 2024)
  • Strategy Tip: Buy critical parts immediately when you see them
  • EA Status: "I haven't decided the full inventory of Fleetari's" โ€” Toplessgun

๐Ÿ’ก Interaction Tips

  • Arrive during business hours (8:00-16:00 weekdays) or door will be locked
  • Check parts shelf near front door for available inventory
  • Cannot order new services until previous work is paid for
  • Call Fleetari to check progress of repairs (planned feature)
  • Consider storing Rivett here for heated garage access (if implemented)

๐Ÿบ

JokkeNeighbor

Apartment Neighbor & Kilju Buyer

Jokke is your neighbor in the adjacent apartment. He's one of two drunk neighbors who provide a valuable survival resource: free alcohol to manage your Problem Bar when you're broke.

๐Ÿ“ Location & Access

Location
Adjacent apartment to yours
Access Method
Hop fence to backyard
Best Time
Night (when not working)

๐Ÿป Free Alcohol Source

When you're broke and your Problem Bar is rising, Jokke offers a critical lifeline:

  • Access: Visit neighbors at night by hopping the fence
  • Cost: Completely free (no payment required)
  • Effect: Lowers Problem Bar same as purchased beer
  • Frequency: Can visit repeatedly as needed
๐Ÿ’€ CRITICAL WARNING: Neighbor's Vodka

DO NOT drink vodka from their kitchen counter. Multiple players report drinking neighbor's vodka caused 6-7 day blackouts, effectively ending their playthrough.

Safe Strategy: Stick to beer only. Avoid strong spirits.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Kilju Sales

Jokke buys homemade kilju (sugar wine), providing income opportunity:

  • Transaction: Sell kilju for cash
  • Verification: Jokke makes you drink from what you're selling (quality check)
  • Access: Must catch him when he's home (not passed out or working)
โš ๏ธ Spawn Behavior Notes
  • Empty Apartment Issue: Some players report Jokke's apartment appears empty
  • Possible Fix: May be save-dependent or require specific triggers
  • MSC Editor Workaround: Advanced users report changing "drunkstage" value to 0
  • Best Practice: If apartment empty, try visiting different times/days

๐Ÿ’ก Survival Strategy

Early Game Lifesaver: When you've spent all money on Rivett parts and rent, Jokke's free alcohol prevents Problem Bar death. This is especially critical before your first job paycheck arrives.

Reijo LivaloinenKesselinperรค

"Firewood Guy" โ€” Corris Rivett Seller

Reijo Livaloinen, known as the "Firewood Guy" from My Summer Car, returns as the seller of your project car: the Corris Rivett. This is a mandatory NPC interaction to progress in the game.

๐Ÿ“ Location & Appearance

Location
White shed in Kesselinperรค (Map Marker 9)
Phone Number
08-609553
Availability
โŒ DAYTIME ONLY
Price
500 mk (cash or bank)

๐Ÿ“ž How to Buy the Rivett

โœ… Complete Purchase Process
  1. Find Advertisement: Look for Rivett sale poster inside PSK or at gas station
  2. Call Using Numpad: Dial 08609553 from apartment or parents' house phone
  3. CRITICAL: Wait for entire conversation โ€” DO NOT hang up early!
  4. Check Map: "Car for sale" marker should appear (if not, call failed)
  5. Visit Daytime: Drive to location during daylight hours (he won't appear at night)
  6. Complete Transaction: Approach Reijo, wait for dialogue, pay 500mk
  7. Receive Car: Rivett shell + 10-12 random parts on ground nearby
โŒ Common Purchase Failures
  • Hanging Up Early: #1 mistake โ€” map marker won't appear if you hang up before seller finishes
  • Night Visit: Reijo only spawns during daytime, arriving at night wastes trip
  • Wrong Number Format: Don't include dash โ€” type 08609553 not "08-609 553"
  • Using Number Row: Must use keyboard NUMPAD, not top row numbers

๐Ÿš— What You Get

  • Rivett Shell: Empty body/frame (no engine, transmission, or interior)
  • 10-12 Random Parts: Scattered on ground near car
  • Towing Required: Cannot drive โ€” use Kekmet tractor or Gifu to tow
  • Destination Choice: Many players tow to parents' house for garage access
๐Ÿ’ก Post-Purchase Notes

After buying Rivett, you'll need ~8,000-14,000mk more for parts, plus weekly rent (525mk) and bills. Start a job immediately to fund the build.

From My Summer Car: Reijo's character returns from MSC where he bought firewood. In MWC, his role simplified to single Rivett transaction.

Uncle Toivo KesseliRetirement Home

Gifu Former Owner โ€” Tragic Character Arc

Uncle Toivo undergoes one of the most dramatic character transformations from My Summer Car to My Winter Car. Once a heavy-drinking, cough-prone but functional septic truck driver, Toivo now sits bedridden in the retirement home, dying from cancer.

๐Ÿ“ Location & Current Status

Location
Retirement Home (near Inspection)
Room
One of the side rooms
Position
Sitting on bed
Health Status
โŒ Terminally Ill (Cancer)

๐Ÿ’” What Happened to Uncle

Between My Summer Car (1995) and My Winter Car (1999), Uncle Toivo's health catastrophically declined:

โš ๏ธ Tragic Transformation
  • Cancer Diagnosis: Likely lung cancer from excessive smoking
  • Extreme Weight Loss: Now looks skeletal (lost massive amount of weight)
  • Weak Voice: Speech is weak and incoherent
  • Bedridden: Cannot leave retirement home
  • Death Imminent: Wiki states "death is most likely right around the corner"
  • No More Pub Visits: Too sick to go to pub anymore

๐Ÿ‘• Appearance Details

  • Still Recognizable: Wears iconic orange GIFU trucks cap and glasses
  • Clothing: White undershirt, purple/blue sweatpants, orthopedic sneakers
  • Smoking: Still smoking cigarette while sitting on bed (despite cancer)

๐Ÿš› The Gifu Connection

In My Summer Car: Uncle owned and drove the Gifu 405 T septic truck, which he gave to the player after losing his driver's license (DUI/speeding).

In My Winter Car: The player already owns the Gifu from the start (inheritance from MSC story). Toivo no longer drives and is essentially waiting to die.

๐Ÿ“ Cautionary Tale

The Fridge Note: At your parents' house, there's a note warning: "Stop drinking alcohol or you'll end up like uncle."

This directly references Toivo's decline. Your character starts as an alcoholic (empty beer bottles in apartment), and the game warns you about following uncle's path.

๐Ÿ’ก Current Role in MWC

  • No Functional Gameplay Role: Cannot interact for jobs or services
  • Narrative Purpose: Serves as cautionary tale about alcoholism and smoking
  • Emotional Impact: MSC veterans will feel impact of seeing beloved character dying
  • Visit Option: Can visit him in retirement home for somber moment

Related Info: You inherit Uncle's Gifu truck and can use it for septic pumping jobs. Learn about managing the Problem Bar to avoid Uncle's fate.

๐Ÿป

Teimo PielinenPub Nappo

Former Shop Owner, Now Pub Proprietor

Teimo, the beloved shopkeeper from My Summer Car, returns in MWC but with a significant downgrade. PSK's modern facilities drove his shop out of business, forcing him to focus solely on running Pub Nappo.

๐Ÿ“ Location & Business

Location
Pub Nappo (crossroads)
Business
โŒ Shop Closed / โœ… Pub Open
Transportation
Sled (no car, short commute)

๐Ÿ’” What Happened to Teimo's Shop

โš ๏ธ Business Closure Story

The Competition: Between MSC (1995) and MWC (1999), the modern Perรคjรคrvi PSK rest area opened. This 24/7 facility with card payment, supermarket, and fuel service completely destroyed Teimo's traditional shop business.

  • Forced Closure: Teimo's shop permanently closed sometime between 1995-1999
  • All Functions Lost: Food sales, parts orders, lottery, postal services โ€” all moved to PSK
  • Bitter Feelings: Teimo constantly expresses bitterness toward PSK when you visit pub
  • Downscaled Life: Reduced to just running his pub for survival

๐Ÿด Current Services (Pub Only)

  • Food: Sausages with fries (~30-50mk)
  • Drinks: Alcoholic beverages to lower Problem Bar
  • Backup Food Source: When PSK food vendors unavailable (EA bugs)
  • Social Atmosphere: Meet other NPCs, including drunk regulars
๐Ÿ’ก Pub Nappo Strategy

When to Use: Pub Nappo serves as backup when PSK is too far or you want alternative food/drink location. Not essential for survival but convenient for roleplay and occasional quick meal.

Location Advantage: At crossroads between apartment and parents' house, making it convenient stop.

๐Ÿšด Character Details

  • No Car: Uses sled for short commute to pub (developer confirmed short distance doesn't justify car)
  • Personality: Same gruff, complaining character from MSC
  • Dialogue: Will vent about PSK stealing his business if you talk to him

Related Info: PSK replaced Teimo's shop for all primary shopping needs โ€” see Survival Guide for food strategies.

โ“ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why can't I find Jokke in his apartment?

A: Some players report Jokke's apartment appears empty. This may be save-dependent or require specific triggers. Try visiting different times/days. Advanced solution: MSC Editor can change "drunkstage" value to 0 in save file.

Q: Can I still get the Gifu from Uncle Toivo?

A: No. In MWC, you already own the Gifu from the start (story continuation from MSC). Uncle Toivo is bedridden in retirement home and no longer functional for gameplay.

Q: Where did Teimo's shop go?

A: PSK's modern facilities drove Teimo's shop out of business between 1995-1999. He now only runs Pub Nappo. All shopping functions moved to PSK.

Q: How do I know when Fleetari's shop is open?

A: Monday-Friday 8:00-16:00 only. Door will be locked outside these hours. Weekends completely closed.

Q: Can I permanently fail the taxi job?

A: Yes! If you miss the 12:00 PM meeting at PSK after calling, don't enter passenger seat, or interrupt dialogue, you're locked out permanently with no rehire chance. Jail time also voids opportunity.

Q: Is Uncle Toivo going to die during gameplay?

A: Unknown in current EA version. Wiki states "death is most likely right around the corner" but actual death event not confirmed. He may remain as static bedridden NPC.

Q: Why won't Reijo appear when I visit to buy the Rivett?

A: Three common causes: (1) Visiting at night (he only appears daytime), (2) Hung up phone call early (map marker didn't trigger), (3) Used wrong phone number format.
