A comprehensive overview of Corris Rivett components, winter parts, and aftermarket packages. Learn where to order and how to manage the massive parts list.
Unlike its predecessor, building the Corris Rivett in My Winter Car isn't just about bolting pieces together from your garage floor. The parts list has expanded heavily, and acquiring them involves navigating mail-order packages, random classified ads, and trips to Fleetari's shop.
Because there is no definitive pre-assembled "all-in-one package", you must hunt down specific parts across the map:
Found on the desk in your parent's garage. You use envelopes to send out money, and after a few days, your chosen packages will arrive at the local post office. This is the primary source for brand new aftermarket exhausts, tuning radiators, and suspension systems.
Purchased at the PSK convenience store. The classifieds rotate every Tuesday and Friday. You must use the phone to arrange pickups. Expect high randomness—these are often used parts, and you won't always know the exact condition until the package arrives.
Head to Fleetari for professional-grade rally packages, fresh tires, and precision engine components (like the Rally Cam). His parts are reliable and brand new.
Without these specific winter parts, your Corris Rivett will not start or will crash within miles of your driveway:
Standard summer rubbers are suicidal on Finnish icy roads. You absolutely need studded winter tires installed to gain any traction.
Crucial for cold starts. At -20°C, the engine oil turns into sludge. Plugging in the block heater at your house or apartment warms the sump for a successful ignition.
Cold weather drains battery life significantly faster. Buying a fresh, high-CCA capable battery from PSK is highly recommended.
Hidden snowdrifts and solid ice clumps will rip the oil pan right off the Corris. A sump guard from Fleetari is basically mandatory.
When assembling the Pinto TL20H engine, ensure you have gathered these fundamental pieces. Forgetting one will result in a blown engine.
